Subject: CRC check failed - Anyone getting this error when trying to unzip a Renderosity

  1. What is your ISP?  www.comcast.net.
  2. What type of service do you have?  Cable broadband 100 Mbps.
  3. What OS do you run, etc? XP Home SP 2
  4. What software is used to unzip?  WAS Winzip freebie 8.*.  BOUGHT current Winzp 11.2 (8094) - GOT THE SAME EXACT (bad) RESULT!S!
  5. Do you use any type of download manager?  Only the Downloads in FIrefox 2.0.0.14.
  6. What Antivirus are you running?  AVG8.0 Pro AND turned on web shield.  NO help!
  7. What is file size before and after?  Don't know before - exceeded DLs again.  AFTER is 16,581 kb.
  8. Boowsers = Firefox 2.0.0.14 and IE 7.0.5730.11.
