Subject: Bryce & DAZ Studio

Hello folks
I've been so STUPID to install DAZ3D Studio ver.2.2.2.15 - and every time i use the Studio bridge in Bryce - i get a c++ runtime error - however Studio starts up ...but the "return to bryce" thingy runs out of memory when returning + Bryce has become unstable after that (God damn DAZ3D) - It's double irritating as i have bought both Victria 4.2 full and Lux Lucia - and i'm only able to render full armour in Studio - which i don't like - have any of you had the same problem ...and if ...do you know which recent version of studio is stable and where to get it ?

Best Regards
Arne

There is a 'beta' 2.2.2.17 that they released due to a problem with one of the libraries.  I know it caused issues with some plug-ins that it seemed to take care of, I don't know if the error your having fixed with it or not, but most seem to like the .17 over the .15

I use 1.8 and WILL NOT go to version 2 until they fix it!  My bryce 6.1 works perfectly with Studio 1.8.   I'm not sure where to get it though.  I saved all of my previous versions.
DS's biggest problem is not working with video cards if they don't have at least 1.5 openGL.

Bryce 6 has worked perfectly with 2.2.2.15 and works fine with 2.2.2.17.

Daz3D are currently processing Bryce errors and crash reports, so maybe a fix for that in the next update.

Attached Link: C Runtime fix

Is this the error you're getting?

"R6034
An application has made an attempt to load the C runtime library
incorrectly. Please contact the application's support team for more
information."

If so there's a 5.5/6.1 fix suggested at this link, by fractalfreak (actually the new DAZ QA manager Richard ).

I installed DAZ Studio 2.2........Bryce 6 would not open up...it screwed up the the path and etc.
Had to reinstall bryce 6
Should I uninstall the new version of DAZ Studio....and let Bryce 6 install wizard load up the older version of Studio?
It worked fine before the newer version

dash - From what I've seen posted deinstall both Bryce and D|S. Then install Bryce with the old D|S followed by installing the new D|S ( and be sure to let the installer delete the old version).

Thanks!
Will try it tonite...just checked Bryce 6...opened ok,with the DAZ button on the interface.
Just going to delete the new version...then do what you suggested...minus the newer version.
Will post results tonite.
Again...thanks for the idea!
