"Also, until they make the default shader as Skin and not Plastic, a lot of people that I know create content for Poser won't be going into Studio"
If you will look down at the bottom in surfaces there is a skin lighting model that many people are successful with as far as skin textures. Also, Daz has a free set of shader presets that includes being able to make the gloss very sharp that is rather compatible to the high gloss you get with anamorphic glass settings in poser. It includes an sss shader for skin that can be adjusted as well. It is in the old daz freebies as it has been out as long as studio has. There is also an SDK that can be downloaded that has the same scripts. Many people already have the sdk in order to use the free shader systems that add tiling and some of the camera and light scripts.
We have a tutorial on our web site that tells you which settings will need to be modified to make poser products daz compatable.www.calida3d.com. There is also a tutorial on working with and creating your own shader presets.
By the way I think most people are using the term shader to refer to the process not the use of someone else's shader presets.
