After a time, there was no more feeding at the nest.  The chicks had fledged, left the nest. That was a week ago.  The juvinels will stay near the parents for a couple more weeks learning to survive and be independent wrens,  at first deeper in the woods away from the nest.

These birds are quite small, about 12cm or 4 inches from tip to tip. Take away the tail and the bird body is certaily tiny.  They have very large voice and lovely song.  The volume of notes from tiny birds still amazes me.

The nest cavity is difficult to see because the handle of the waterng pitcher blocks the view.
