Alright, consider this:
It's a symbiotic relationship between a consumer and a provider, DAZ being the provider, and we being the consumer.
The difference is, the provider in a free market is well advised to accommodate the consumer as best as possible, because the symbiosis is fragile and tentative, pending the introduction of actual competition.

Are you familiar with the term, "tail wagging the dog"? It says, basically, the tail wagging the dog is unnatural, and just wrong.
Such is the comparison to those who defend retailers who impose potential problems on the consumers because it's easier for them.

Don't tell DAZ you see no problem with it - if you hate it, you need to let them know you hate it, otherwise one day they'll walk all over you and be stealing your land and harvesting your grandfather's kidneys.

I think we all agree nobody wants to see that happen.

In short, don't just go along with it and offer excuses where there is no logical justification - rebel against them!
