I conveniently have two machines, one 64 bit, one 32. I installed Vue on both, I use Skin Vue on the 32 bit one and transfer the .vob over to the 64 bit one. It's a royal pain since the file paths differ enough for me to get the occasional where-is-the-file question.

Also IMHO if the character is in the background, going through their material settings and turning off the "blend with cyan" option and setting highlights to ~30% white or light grey/sky blue often suffices.
