There were a bunch of threads about this when it first came out so you may wanna try searching.

Anyways, the main reasons for me were 64 bits, slightly more stable/faster rendering and that it has more export options like COLLADA. Some people also seem to like the background rendering and queue system. The rest of the features are pretty useless IMO.
