I get this problem with Poser Pro, so it is not just a P7 issue. I get the following extremely helpfull error message every time: "Poser Pro executable file has stopped working".

The problem is nvoglv32.dll, which is an nVidia file that sits in the nVidia folder looking all sweet and innocent, but in reality it is working behind the scenes to crush Poser at every opportunity...

The good news is there is a workaround - well, this works for me, so it is worth a try. It allows me to set Poser back to Open GL mode, 'cos SkreeD just drives me insane...  This is not my workaround - I read it somewhere in these forums, so I thank the person who suggested it, it works!

I open Poser with an empty document window, so it also opens with the main camera selected. First thing I do is whiz the camera around a bit (I use the X and Y Orbit dials, and then flick both dials back to the zero point) and then proceed to load a character or scene... and Poser behaves just fine.
