I have poser 7 and have been dealing with this problem for a long time. I too also have the latest drivers installed for my 1GB 8600GT. I don't like working in Sree either and poser seems to be the only app with this problem as Vue and all my other programs run fine. I also open to a empty document window and do the same by moving the main camera around. But alas somewhere down the line poser will crash to desktop so I just save every little change I make.
