that's correct, daid.  deletion of said vertices might cause head.obj to have no
nose in wings, but it would fail to load as morph target in poser, which can also
be used to make the nose invisible.

to make said morph, export head.obj from poser as morph target.  import into wings.
then reverse the process they used to make the nose from a smooth surface.

  1. select polygons by material to get nostril material vertices
( the nostril material involves different vertices than the nostril indents AFAIK)
  2. move 'em back into the head 3 inches
  3. set everything but the nose vertices to not display (make 'em invisible)
  4. use the vertex tools to pull out the nostril indents and seal 'em, if necessary
    (no welding or linking operations)
  5. pull the nose tip up to the centre of the nose.
  6. use the vertex tools to push the remaining nose bump as flat as desired
  7. make the rest of the head visible and export as nonose.obj.
  8. estimated time for an expert modeller to do said morph perfectly: 3 hours.

I don't have wings, so if ya ask 'em how to do it in the wings forum, they will say
the above is wholly or partially wrong, but they may also tell ya how to do it right.
