TrueSpace was offered free a few years back. Calligari i think was he name of the company. First modeling software i ever tried. It came with a toot on how to make a mace in fact. I think it was TrueSpace 3.5 or sumpthin...but memory isnt my strong suit, but i do remember it being free(;
