Additionally, they have strand based hair. They don't call it dynamic, probably because it doesen't play well in the physics engine.

Arrgh. So much to explore, but not half the time for it.

I think converting transmapped hair to cloth would be the way to go in tS.  I think it was the way Poser works specifically that we couldn't get that working.  (Unless of course someone did finally manage to do it.)
