I'm looking at modelling programs myself because I think I'd enjoy it though I think it'll take me ages to learn to be any good but to answer your question; I have yet to find a european / English style canal / narrow boat so there's something that hasn't got a lot of competition around and in my opinion would be useful in a number of scenes.
There's a beautiful old, three story Victorian stone mill near me - converted for residential use now, that's stunning. If you're interested, I'd happily go take a photo of it.
I actually got your industrial pump station over at cornucopia, though what I was after really was a sort of shack type house / farm house that you find in the tropics - in South America and stuff and it was the nearest thing to it that I could find.
In my opinion theres plenty of cars and planes available here, there and everywhere but not very many wrecked ones.
Peeves??? Well, I haven't come across too many poorly textured models, not that I've paid for anyway but in my opinion good texturing is essential and your own textures rate with me as being pretty good - they tend to have a bit or good amount of weathering that I like.
