Oh, I wonder if I haven't got some sort of bug now.  I am sure I saw where I could adjust gamma in the materials room but now I can't see it.  Is it there?  Am i going blind or has my poser pro now gone faulty? Love eshter

ogh I see it now.  YOu have to click on the image source box.  Yep, that certainly has made a difference.

It seems to be faster and more stable now.  That's very good to see.

Thanks.

I'm generally happy with P-Pro now: the problem outlined in this thread has been fixed.

Regarding the problems with Vue: this is down to the fact that both P-Pro and P7 SR3 now force relative, rather than absolute, path references. If, like me, you forced everything to absolute references, Vue never had a problem locating OBJ and texture files.

Although I understand why it was done, I think this is an unwelcome development: I'd have liked the option to choose one type or the other. Nevertheless I've now reorganised my Runtimes to use relative path references: I don't really have a choice.

i could do both.  i could leave my external runtimes and use as is but also merge them into a main poser pro runtime i suppose.  would be one extra step each installation and fairly wasteful of disk space.
or just use the python script - convert to absolute

Do any of you know if the new update has fixed the problem of dynamic hair not behaving well?

In my version of pro long dynamic hair passes through any object other than the head.

Oh! Which script is that? Any chance of a link?

Did the symmetry bug ever get fixed in sr1? For me if I use the symmetry tool and swap right and left legs on v3, it copies the FBMs into the individual dials on each body part creating a mess. Arms seem to work fine. I'm almost forced to write a python script to do symmetry.
