Quote - Another issue is that no one has access to a mocap rig (yet) to make those just for the Poser figures, with one or two exceptions.

Since this seems to be on-topic, I'll mention that we at Posermocap are going to be producing a lot of animated poses for Poser to make animation with Poser a lot easier. With the release of Poser Pro and its ability to do network rendering, there is a lot of potential for animation to be done with this software.
We have our own mocap rig, and we've done a number of capture sessions that will be converted into animated poses for use with popular Poser and Daz|Studio figures. We are not going to be selling strictly BVH files (although we'll be including BVH files of all motions in our products), but instead making it as easy as possible to apply the animated poses within Poser.
Right now, we're looking at doing two types of products: The first is a straight animated poses pack which will contain a number of animated poses all centred around a theme. The second is a movie pack, where we make a short film and then supply all the key motions used in that short film on a DVD. We're already in production on our first film called "Officer Murphy's Bad Day" and we're providing a day-by-day progress report on production on our site.

We are not a Renderosity vendor yet, but we intend to be selling through Renderosity as our products come online.

We think that we'll be seeing a lot more animation with Poser as people start to realize what a powerful tool they have in their hands.
