I am on a mac but i you go to the SM Knowledge base there is all kinds of info there. Things about setting the preview pane under rendering settings (this was the info I was looking for). But there is other info that pertains to Windows and changing the prefs file (poser.ini) that relates to windows and your graphics card. The one that seems to be popular is camera performance (jumpy). The KB article I grabbed states to change PREVIEW_OGL_HWSHADING_INTRACKING from 1 to 0 for nVidia cards and ATI cards and delays in mousing over by changing PREVIEW_OGL_OBJECT_BBOXPICKING to 1 from 0. There was other stuff in the KB, but it all pretained so windows so I did not pay attention to it.
