You can also load each source figure (the ones you want the morph from) and set them to zero ecxept for the morph(s) you want, then export that body part as an obj, then load the figure you want those morphs on (destination) and Add Morph Taget to the same parts (like the head). I'm in the middle of doing that right now. I have four male heads and am going to put them all on one figure as morphs. Two are Asian, one is African American, and one is a better Honky face. I've used Morph Manager a little bit, and it's actually pretty simple: Just open the Source file in the Left window, the Target file in the Right window, and double-click on the Morphs you want in the Left and they'll jump into the correct spot on the Right. Hip morphs automatically go to the Hip area, and so on. Newc
You can also export the morph to an .obj file with morph manager and then just import them to what ever character you want to. I do it all the time when I make spawn-morphs or mag-morphs in P4. To do this, load the .cr2 with the morphs in one window, then hit the load .obj button (forget what the exact title is) dig for the original geometry file. Then find the morph you want to extract, right click and export to .obj file. -Trav
Ahhhhh!! More good concise answers from this group. I looked for tutorials, but they were all for creating morph targets in other apps. This is exactly what I wanted. I've spent most of the evening adding all Traveler's morphs to one figure (instead of piecemeal, as I've done it before). This will give me a lot more control over how/what. Thanks all as always. I'm sorry. I know I asked this before, but have forgotten most of the answers. I've been working with morph targets all evening. What I'm wondering is, for instance, there are several morphs on several characters that I really like. As examples, one is the 'nose under' in Mimi and another is the 'crooked smile' in one of Tim's characters. (Gosh, maybe this isn't even ethical to ask?!?). I've been wondering if there is any way to add those morph targets to a figure of mine-along with gazillions of other morph targets. I do remember that someone suggested that they could be moved from one figure to another in the hierarchy editor and someone else said he had never gotten that to work. Well, I'm here to tell you that I've certainly not gotten that to work either. Are there any other possibilities? Someone was talking about spawning morph targets but I don't see how that is relevant. I tried that on Mimi, for instance (her head), and all I got was all the morph targets together and a big mess--but still no way I could see to move them to another figure. Maybe it just isn't possible and I'll have to do it myself with magnets or whatever (which I've not gotten a handle on at all). Thanks all, Diane (the other)
