anyway in other news, i have nearly finished me flat-pack project, so i now have enough room on me new workstation area for mice, cats and even minature horses, two more cupboards to go and then it's job done, whoo and hoo!!*( decoratin' tip numero uno, don't bail out of the glossing job, thinking that your new workstation is going there, so you'll never see that skirting board again anyway, because your desk part may have two gaps on it that will allow your un-painted skirting-boards to wave back at you, going "cooey, look at me i'm all naked, not like the rest of the skirting around here, look you can see me wherever you sit in the room, heelllooo!!" ) 

Cool!  Hanging cupboards is a lot of work.  What kind of doors did you go with?  Solid or windowed?

You're right about the skirting boards.  The unfinished part in time can even start to split and warp.
