nope..8/12/08 would be Aug 12 2008...I have made the same mistake a number of times when the day number is 12 or under.. ...

 

Once in a while I look around,
I see a sound
and try to write it down
Sometimes they come out very soft
Tinkling light sound
The Sun comes up again
