Subject: Disappointed With the New V4 Elite Morphs...

Something strange about that image operaguy. There are very glossy spots and then the line along the top and left side of nose looks like it was powdered for the shot.

Maybe it's just this old monitor. I was going to say something at the Daz thread but thought better of it. A few twits would wig out and not understand I was just giving MHO and not going out of my way to be a jerk. I know here you would take as it was meant.

I can't quite see what you see. However, there are no doubt issues with the specularity. I played with the sun a lot; there is a control to make the sun itself and the sun's aura bigger/smaller. the reason I was tweaking that is because the level of shine seemed uneven and concentrated in the middle of her face. I thought that might be due to the 'size' of the sun.

However, that did not seem to effect things. I played with the shaders of course; reflection, adjustments to the controls on the map, etc.

It was an investment I wanted to make, because while I am studying Max and getting up the hill, I still have found a space for Carrara for these renders of V4 with dramatic strand hair for stills.

I'd have to pour another power session into "the sun" in Carrara to figure out where the unevenness is coming from. Thanks for your comment.

That's more like it!!!!
When I get back to my home state Ill have to post some kitty pics myself.  I also have a black lab/chow mix, 1 adult cat and another rescued kitty being cared for by my mother til it is old enough to survive this house. - A turtle, a whole mess of carnivorous fish - 3 kids , and the most difficult of all - a husband.  Honestly being in need of peice and quiet often and rarely getting it, the turtle is my favorite.

Oh man, I hear you about the peace and quiet thing... and I don't have half of commotion that you seem to have.
LOL, I went from living by myself (with my kitties) in a nice quiet place, or just my ex and I and the kitties, to an instant family... ADD honey, ADD son, moody teenage daughter and her boyfriend (She's 20, but still close enough to teenager), dog, turtles, other transient pets, all their teenage friends. I collectively call them my "werecking crew", and there's people in and out of here like it's grand central!
If it's not one mess or something broken, it's something else. I just retreat into the office/den and sit on the computer.... and the animals, at least the four legged ones follow me. Hopefully the housing industry gets healthier and I find another engineering job before I go totally.

Hi, my namez: "NO, Bad Kitteh, NO!"  Whaz yurs?
