ah thanks. Now I haven't made the new probe with gamma turned off yet. I think the hdri was a proper hdri freebie from dosch design but I would have to check to be sure. In the meantime, before I read this I tried adding a spotlight and look what happened. Well I will need some sort of shadow won't I, otherwise won't the chap look as if he is floating?? Love esther
