THE PLACE FOR ALL THINGS BRYCE - GOT A PROBLEM? YOU'VE COME TO THE RIGHT PLACE

Subject: OT: FYI

mboncher ( ) posted Sat, 23 August 2008 at 1:46 AM · edited Sun, 01 December 2024 at 2:33 PM

I know I've been absent a lot lately, and things may get worse for a while.  My wife and I are now getting a divorce.  The decision was made yesterday... at our first session of marriage counseling.  Yeah.  First session.  So, I'm going to be trying to figure out where my life is going to take me for a bit.  Dunno where I'm relocating to and when.

Oh, and as an added bonus, my computer crash did NOT save my models, except for anything in a zip file.  So I lost all my custom textures and scene files et all.  I'll be beginning a model "reclaimation" project over the next few weeks and months.

So, please forgive any extended absenses again.  Life's kinda crazy right now

Sorry to hear. I wish you the best outcome possible.

Sorry about your problems...my son is going thru the same thing and it makes everyone miserable...especially if kids are involved..
And, of course, bad luck is usually always accompanied by more bad luck.  I hope you get your models back.

Once in a while I look around,
I see a sound
and try to write it down
Sometimes they come out very soft
Tinkling light sound

Had this happen myself about 15 years ago.... and it's sad that it took me a long time to decide where my life was going. Just take opportunities when they arise, It would be sad if you had to endure what I did.
Split ups can put your whole life outa balance... it's only you that can decide not to let that happen., Be strong, be positive. It's said that life is merely a set of situations or experiences.

You are about to embark on a new adventure as I did a few years ago. Look forward with positivity not backwards with regret. Good luck.

Thanks guys.  The kind words are sure needed at a time like this.  It wreaks havoc on your ability to sleep, and when you're working overnights too, it's like you're darn near alone in the world.  So, once again, thanks.

I definately will be looking for the positive.  I've been living with the negative for so long, it's almost like getting a refreshing change of scenery.

So is it too soon to start dating?  ;c)  LOL

You should wait 6 months to a year before you consider your feelings towards anyone else sensible and honest...   I'll send you the bill..

Been there done that ! It's hard at first but when the lawyers get involved it's even worse. The pain goes away after a while and in my case it was followed by an ememse feeling of relief.

...

It looks like there's a police action in the hood - again. Hoh boy ! ! the chopper guy just called out over the horn for the guy to come out or they'd do a house to house search  - poked my head out the window and the cops are all over it. I bet they have no idea where the guy is but they're equally sure he's 'around here somewhere' . . . and  yes, it is my tax dollars at work - so ... can I get a refund ?

...

My stupid neighbor just waddled out to see if she could help 'catch the guy';  like she'd be any help. Meanhile my impossible cheesburger suprise is about done an' Im gonna eat dinner.

sorry to hear about the divorce - things'll get better ! !

Thank god they didn't do a house to house or youse guys might be looking for a new bikermouse - I hates me intrusions on me fourth amendment even though it could provide me a little temporary security - ol' Ben i'd have sumpin' to say 'bout that I'd imagine.
