I can only go to a certain point without other lighting on in the room....usually at night or if it's really overcast outside I'll have to have my lights on at home, or I find myself leaning in closer to the screen and squinting more, regardless of if I have my glasses on or my contacts in. Then I start wondering why my neck and shoulders hurt.....and then I realize "Idiot, turn some lights on". lol
Here at work, I don't have any outside windows....so the lights are on all the time. But it's not as bad with the flat screen monitors I have now. Old CRT ones, and early flat screens would drive my eyes buggy, but am doing good with the newer ones...and no glare anymore. =)
Crazy alien chick FTW! (yeah....right....)
