I useta wonder why some folks would post vids or renders that were mostly black, back in
the old days.  then I found out they're sitting in darkened rooms, hence the images
look o.k. on their monitors.  the deal with sitting in the dark all the time is that it has
bad fx on the human mind.  one of 'em is called "seasonal affective disorder".
