I had just awoke and uncharistically turned the radio on immediately and heard the the first plane had just impacted. Turned on the T V and there went my day and then my sense of well being. But I sucked it up as I was doing palative care for my Mom at the time and didn't want to upset her as she had enough problems at the time.
I immediately had a vision of the start of a 'World Police State', and was proved rather accurate within mere months as everything re: travel out of one's home country changed for ever, just as a start.....sigh..A Brave New World indeed...a scarier one for sure.. ...

 

Once in a while I look around,
I see a sound
and try to write it down
Sometimes they come out very soft
Tinkling light sound
The Sun comes up again
