I wasn't going to add to this thread.  I was afraid it was going to turn into a finger pointing witch hunt.  I am glad it hasn't. 

I was putting my boat in the water for slalom practice when my ski partner showed up and said she had heard something about a plane hitting the WTC.   We practiced and listened to the radio in the boat. .  We cut the practice short when they began reporting it as a terrorist attack.

By the time I got back to the house the second plane had hit.  I sat there in disbelief until the first tower fell.  then I cried.  I had been a firefighter in my younger years and I knew heroes had died before my eyes.

I hope we never forget.
