Poppy, This is a lovely image! The tear would look more realistic if it was angled a bit more (coming from inner corner of the eye and sliding almost sideways along the hollow under it. It is the focal point (especially if it is in sharp focus and everything else is soft), and with a bit more work here, people won't be counting strands of hair or number of pearls.
