I'm actually coming the other direction.. Daz|Studio is easier to pose in, but the fact that Poser comes out of the box with everything to do a good job, whereas with Daz|Studio you have to fork over major piles of cash for access to advanced features, is pretty off-putting. Using D|S for basic stuff is OK, but if you start pushing it you'll hit the wall pretty hard. Plus, now that I have Vue I appreciate the Vue/Poser interaction, which is (for me) far more reliable than D|S/Carrara.
The only thing that drove me mad about Poser was the library tab.. Advanced Library fixed that!
It all depends on your needs and what best fits your workflow.
