Melikia,
hehe glad ye liked 'em!! ;)
oh another tip for scenes...if a material isn't important, duplicate it!
for example, say you have a scene that soon grows to 200 materials or more!
well say 10 of those are iron/steel variations, but none are up close, well, just copy one material over ALL of them! (provided, if it uses a texture, the texture fills ALL the image, no use having a strip of metal down the middle and white elsewhere!)
long as it's a good material and not up close, it won't show much and will be fine...though I do my trick of mixing in dirt or other material as a Mixed material with a distribution function, so, same material but each item will look a bit different ;)
Tricksy bastard, ain't I? :thumbupboth:
This saves up resources!
For example, current scene I have made is gigantic, would have about 500 materials or more but I've pruned it down to 300.
Going from 350 to 300 materials saved 8 megs of the compressed file size: 260 to 252 megs.
All those # of materials add up to eat resources.
and I've went through all the materials' textures to reduce Poser image sizes.
What a **** PAIN IN THE ARSE job that was, yeech!! :p
