I am trying to counter that by suggesting

A---What is a machine?---the variations within any one are quite large (HUGE)--even  "have you the latest card update!?" for example.

B---I am sugesting that, also, settings are maybe made for rendering that are way, way in excess of the needs for the end result.

If a render takes longer than 60mins --for anything (MY spec!)---I think the problem is the settings and nothing to do with the end result render! (Obviously, this is subject to wanting a render better than one needs for A4 prints maybe?----another if/but consideration?
