Don't think about that - although I agree that this is a very possible outcome.  Whenever internal systems fail, countries go on a hunt for external resources - i.e.: war.  I won't speculate further.

C makes it easy to shoot yourself in the foot. C++ makes it harder, but when you do, you blow your whole leg off.
