@RobynsVeil, I was interested in doing what you were trying to do with the lip mask, so I went in and re-read what you said you did twice.... no maybe three times ;)..... anyway I managed to get it to work. Start by running the VSS script, select Designer and select "Add a Material Zone". Choose other type it in and name as you prefer (TemplateFace for me) . If you check the material list for the VSS prop it should now have your new material template. While in the material list select the Shader Rules and go back to the VSS script and "Add a Copy Rule" for the material template you just created. Hook up the nodes as you did in the screen shot you supplied. Then the new material template has to have the new VSS shader added to it and then you can add the nodes for the mask and the tinting as BB describes. Clear as mud eh.... Hope this helps...;)
