...Avoiding this thread like the plague ;p  The minute one of them attempts to post anything, a bunch of people are going to pounce on them. 

Undoubtedly true, but it goes with the territory. Far better to stick head above parapet and admit awful mistake was made than crouch down in the bunker! Because I do think this was a mistake, not a con or a scam or anything like that. Just a misunderstanding at Rendo central, in all likelihood. I just think it would be better if they stuck their collective hand up and said so.
