Sort of, but not exactly.

You'd have to stitch those multiple photos together if you took them with an ordinary camera. Then you'd have to transform them.

Or you could just use free images and tools and forget the photography. There are thousands of free 360 degree panoramic images out there.

I have provided free tools to use such images in your scene, both for background and for lighting.

From there click on "Environment Sphere" and "GenIBL - IBL Generator".

Once you have these tools, you'll be making light sets in just a few clicks.
