Here is an example using wind on rain - I tinkered a bit with the ventilators but got a better result using the wind....This is a still & yes wind can effect eco's...not sure about ventilators.  SHould have added here I used 2 Rain(tropical) plants - both of which were going straight up & down - by using 2 different wind directions they split in 2 in the shape of a V.
