It is a shame you do not have UV Mapper Pro.  It will fix this easily with the invert facets command.  Tools/Facets/Invert  The other reason for black facets is usually more than four sides to your facet and it also is easily fixed by triangulation in UVMP.  Tools/Facets/Triangulate
