I would re-do this image and replace the merry-go-round with a Big Top Tent instead a sort of Darkish looking Brown maybe.  You need a sinister background as the name suggest a Merry-Go-Round is too Merry!! :)

Maybe have the Main Character cast a shadow to a nearby object or maybe the tent to give it a more of the feel that is part of the image rather than a cut and paste.
