inspired art, if you want a cat you could ask at the animal shelters about fostering. In my area they have animals put out to foster for a while to get them back in good condition and start training them so they are easier to get adopted. The shelter will provide the food and accessories you need and take care of any health problems if they occur. The downside is you have to give up the animal after a few months . It may be different in your area but it could be worth asking. :)    If you are having trouble yourself there are a few posts about sources of help in the forums.
