The reason it costs so much to pull and animals tooth is they have to use anesthetic and a team to put them under and care for them while it's done. They do that even to clean the teeth in some cases, which is why I put my cat in a pillowcase so she can't scratch and brush her teeth myself. Same with the dogs. The horse donkeys and goats are on their own. Forgot to mention my goats. When I lost my dog I offered a $1000 dollar reward. The people who found her opted to use the money to do surgery on a little pup someone threw out of a moving car. He's ok now btw. When my daughter's dog got sick she called a number here in town and was connected to an organization that paid the vet bills for her.  Lots of money out there just have to find it.
