I'm glad the kitty is better, putting down a family pet is always tough.
The last animal I had to put down was I stray dog I found at school one day. Had her for about 10 years and she was pretty healthy but at the end she got a bad brain disorder that was incurable. We did some expensive tests and tried to treat her for awhile, but it was just too rough and she wasn't even making much progress. Basically her brain got out of sink and she'd forget who she was and where she was every time that happened and was frantic and confused afterwards. Even worse is we had to put her down on the one year anniversery of my father's death.
mila, vet bills are just getting crazy these days and I don't think the level of care is improving with it.
WARK!
