Export UVS saves the mapping information in UV mappers own format. It allows you to send a file to someone that can only be used if they already own the original model (e.g. a remapping of a commercial figure like Vickie). To create the remapped version they load the original model .obj, import the .uvs file and then save the remapped obj under a different name. If all you are wanting is maps of your own models then you don't need to use this. Set up the maps you want them in UV mapper then save the texture map (Ctrl-T) and the model (Ctrl-S). You must resave the model whenever you change the mapping because information about how to apply the map is stored inside the .obj file. - Mark
