Thanks :)
She's still with me and doing well. She had a bit of difficulty adjusting to the loss of her teeth because she's one of the few cats that actually chews her food before swallowing it. So after weeks and probably $100 in wasted cat and human food, I managed to find a cat food and flavour that she actually likes and I've been giving that to her exclusively. Safeway doesn't stock enough for me to buy in bulk for the month, but they order it in for me once a month.
She's actually put on some weight too! claps and is so cuddly and playful. She's 16 1/2 years now and still healthy.
I'm back to work and on the payroll again as of December 3rd, so in January I'm taking her to the vet for a follow up on her kidneys. I also need to get Abby in for her senior blood panel and have her mouth looked at too, and possibly a dental procedure for her as well seeing that she's 10 and hasn't had one.
I'm so eternally grateful to Gerry! Chynna has been a constant bright spot in my life for over 16 years and I'm so glad that she can grow old with me a little while longer. She really is the very best cat that has ever owned me.
