Subject: Mesh showing selection in Vue 7 Infinite is very dense

The control might be staring me in the face and I didn't see it. I looked through Preferences and might have missed it if it is there.

The red mesh that signifies a selected object in Vue 6 I is not dense; the one in Vue 7 is very dense. Is there a way to change the spacing of the mesh? I want to keep the mesh but have it look like it did in Vue 6 I.

I didn't find a way to influence the density of the mesh but I usually deactivate that feature anyway. The red bounding box is sufficient for me, I don't need the red wireframe. You can disable this in File->Options->Display options->show red wireframe in selected objects.

The dense mesh is part of the new OpenGL display in Vue7. Many years some was user where disappointed by the terrain viewer. (see link) A few users never understand how to use level of detail in Vue6. And now users are disappointed again.

Thanks for the answers. I had found the ability to turn it off in Preferences, but I was hoping to be able to mimic Vue 6. I think I will just turn it off.
