Also, it doesnt matter WHO is the Author/Artist/Creator - if its a packaging problem, its on DAZ'S side, NOT the artist's. Daz takes the packages the creators send them and repack them into handy little .exe files.
It leads to a bunch of problems if they are in a hurry, and Ive seen more than one example of this happening lately. - Kleo Dread Falls expansion by Surreality comes to mind right off hand - they bundled in the AMU dragonfly outfit with it instead of what was supposed to be there.
So, what im saying is, it is ENTIRELY possible your files are missing something, or you got the wrong items. ALSO, it could just be they landed in the wrong spots.
If you can find them via my documents -- e-on software --- vue 6 inf --- materials... they ARE there, but Vue isn't seeing them yet. Here's how to open up Vue's eyes to "new possibilities" - i.e. --- new content!....
in VUE, open up your materials by double-clicking on material preview window. at the bottom left hand side are some tiny buttons... hover mouse over them to find the one that says "add collection" - click it. surf to the NEW material folder(s) and add it in. now, you can use your new toys!
Unlike Poser, Vue doesnt automatically update its library when you install stuff. This is true for objects, atmospheres, plants, etc. If you stick the items in a folder that Vue already knows about, it sees them - but if Vue hasnt been told to "SEE" a folder named "MidnightMoonDesigns" for example, its not gonna show up in your list, nor is anything in the folder.
Rarer than a hairy egg and madder than a box of frogs....
