I've wanted to try figure creation ever since I got hex, but I'm still working my way up to it so I haven't got them.  When I looked at the tools when daz released them, they seemed incredibly expensive so even if I get to the point I start making figures, I'm not sure I'd want to spend that much.

Besides poser, how do they compare to some of the other alternatives?
