When it comes to Poser figures, I believe that their diversity of mesh aside, there should be a Unity of Utilization, that should find its expression in:

1. Uniformity of Morph, to simplify animation and poser, and
2. Uniformity of Rig, to simplify the cross conformance of clothing, and
3. Uniformity of Texture, to simplify character development and render.
