Subject: Help with pupil texture on M4

Your question prompted me to take a closer look at M4 eyes.

Somebody on the M4 construction team does not belong in CG as they have no clue.

The pupil is actually a 3-dimensional disk that indents from the iris. No matter how you shade that, if it has any color at all (not black) you will see the shape when light falls on it.

You can use the pupils dilate morph to reduce the radius, but it will still be indented and look like a bowl.
Geez what a horibble noob mistake this is.
