CR2Edit (not the same as CR2EditOR, John and I were unaware of each others' work during development) ver5 automates all this, no need to open in a text editor. More info at link. But if you want to look at Vicki2's file, the dual window Manual Editor in ver5 opens all 22MB of her in 10 secs on 1gz machine, with instant search.
