I have found Pegaus Modeler, it is on sale at Daz 3D, looks good and not expensive.

I found Daz figures as top model in whole 3D world, but Daz software is not top IMO.
Pegasus is suitable for poser and DazStudio, but there were many bugs. I do not know if they release any patches but first version which I've seen was terrible.
I have few hours to check it (my friend computer) but I was able to crash it 3 times :) Maybe I have special skills ;)
Very similar and very stable is Wings3D. Unfortunatelly objects in wings and Poser use different sizes, but using camera zoom or scale you can obtain the same effect. Wings is free, you find a lot of tips in the net and wings has most simply interface which I ever seen.

I'm fan of Daz product anyway, Pegasus is only product which I do not like.
