Yes, you tell your kitty he/she is a 'lesser being'. And dogs just laugh at us. ;) Eating animals never made any sense to me. If it's a beautiful animal, why would you want to kill it? If it's a not-so-pretty animal (like crabs), why would you want to put that in your mouth?!! According to my kitties, I'm the funny monkey who can open cans and give rubs, but has trouble following instructions in the kitchen.

hmmm... if Tigger poops on the way to the vet, maybe she needs a short drive every day? Those little disposable litterboxes would fit on a car seat. I can just hear Tigger thinking: That stupid vet is going to mess with my butt? Nope. I'm getting rid of it before he has a chance! No Tigger poo for weird vet person!
